2021年1月3日 · The sorry fact of the matter is what while Windows can repair some minor file system errors, it can not repair actual disk hardware errors, so it will just hang on this until you turn it off, and then, it will do the same thing over and over.

2020年9月18日 · Hey guys! I have a pretty old computer that I used and one day it crashed and hasn’t worked since. Whenever I turn it on it says preparing automatic repair, then says diagnosing your PC, and then says repairing disk errors. It said it may take over a hour to complete and I left my computer on and running for days and it didn’t stop loading.

Today when I booted it it said "Scanning and repairing drive (C:): 0% complete. I had seen this before so I let it go on for a bit and just turning it off usually seemed to work, so I did so. I turned it on again and it said that it was Preparing Automatic Repair. After it said Diagnosing your PC, and then it said Repairing disk errors.

2017年6月8日 · My laptop has been on a loop of "Repairing disk errors. This might take over an hour to complete." & "Preparing Automatic Repair" & Diagnosing your PC" For about 1 hour and a half. Every once in a while it looks as if a window might pop up but it quickly disappears. This has been happening since I tried to Factory Reset it & it shut off after 1% .

I have this problem where i turned my PC on and it said "prepairing automatic repair" followed by "diagnosing PC" and finally "repairing disk error, this may take over an hour" It had been like that for 10+ hours and i know there is something wrong. 2018年10月22日 · The laptop opened properly and running smooth. I thought the problem is over but then I received a notification that I need to restart it and I did restart it. And now it is stuck in either "Repairing disk errors. This might take over an hour to complete." or "Scanning and repairing drive(C):0% complete". I no longer have the option to skip.
