2022年7月13日 · I've looked at features and functions of several different comparable makes and models and feel like I've narrowed down my choice to the Panasonic GH6. As one last bit of research before I drop my $$, I thought it would be a good idea to reach out to GH6 owners to get feedback on their experience with this camera. Thanks in advance.

2022年3月10日 · You have a point there regarding the lenses for a M4/3 camera, like the Panasonic GH6 being more affordable. Cameras come and go, a future proof strategy should concentrate on your lenses as your long term investment. The BMPCC 6K and 6K Pro is limited in the ARRI PL lenses that can be adapted due to the FFD of the EF mount.

2022年2月22日 · GH6 oversamples the image from 5.7k (or hell, shoot it in 5.7k), so I really doubt the 4:2:0 is a major difference, and you'd only notice it really in keying. Canon R5 is not trust worthy on any production I've used, and R5C while is a major improvement lacks some features GH6 is bringing to the table.

Well, it also is about 700 quid cheaper, but this is a key feature for the GH5-II. - The GH6 got a new processor and the new code for streaming probably wasn't just a matter of cut and paste.

2022年12月4日 · The GH6 IBIS alone is spectacular, but with DualIS2 it lets you leave the gimbal at home for all but the most challenging situations. In body chromatic aberration and spherical aberration correction. The 12-60mm has a surprisingly nice close focus distance at all focal distances so shooting objects is really nice.

2022年4月20日 · If you want IBIS, GH6 has the best available. Need dynamic range, DR boost puts the GH6 a whisker off the S1H. Need excellent detail, GH6 is doing 5.7k, full sensor width readout @ 60fps in 10-bit 4:2:0 (think Jordan from DP Review said 4k on GH6 was resolving detail near on par with the Sony A1 and Canon R5). I think the bigger question is glass.

2022年11月17日 · Don’t get me wrong GH6 is a beast of a camera, the autofocus to me is very useable. I feel like the next Panasonic full frame would be an absolutely killer camera. If you really need a camera now go for the S5, if you don’t than wait. I really hope that next year Panasonic surprise us once again.
