Assuming your data all fits within that 512G size, you could make a new pool (named fast2, 2fast2furious, whatever you'd prefer) - migrate your applications there from the webUI, and then use the 750G SSD to mirror the 512G one.

The Server 1 (S1) is up and running FreeNAS 11.2-U6 booted in a single SSD Disk, and has a RAID Z1. It has a total of 4 x 10 TB disks = 40.0 TB with 27.93 TB available space.
