2023年8月26日 · My preferred option is to disable wifi on the main router and put another AIMESH node in a nearby room - but this doesn't appear possible. It seems I can disable WiFi on all or none in the AIMESH network. I guess an alternative is that I can use another mesh network type and buy two nodes running off ethernet.

2019年12月27日 · No, you can't use mesh devices from different brands. Even within a single brand only certain models are compatible with that brand's mesh system. If you already have Ethernet connections (at sufficient speed) back to your main router the obvious choice would be to install WiFi access points at the desired locations.
