2011年1月2日 · I would like to setup MMTTY to work with my 6400M. I assume that one sets the Reception to DAX audio RX 1. The question is what do I set the Transmission to? There is a DAX audio TX. I was wondering if that was the right choice or not. Is there any flexradio documents that explain how to setup MMTTY to the Flex 6000 Series of radio's?

2011年1月2日 · Having used both MMTTY and FLDigi, I am interested in any testing results about which program has the most effective demodulator for RTTY. I ran MMTTY for last weeks CQWW RTTY Contest because it was a little easier to set up with N1MM+ software. I ran FLDigi a lot last year when hunting the W1AW portable operations.

2011年1月2日 · I have to continually check the Mark and space tone settings on teh MMTTY setup screen off of the WW RTTY tab. I can click on the Set Default(demodulator) button. I havent figured out what is messing the valuses up but it is a frequent thing. Steve WS5W

Also, your custom interface is not required do actually run AFSK. With most hardware based radios, you have an FSK jack that you ground to do the actual 'shift' while in TX mode. With SSDR, you send audio FSK from MMTY (if MMTTY does AFSK.. not sure) via DAX to the radio.

2011年1月2日 · I have MMTTY transmitting and receiving but I'm having issues when I click on a spot. I see a station on my spotting network and click on the spot… it does not change to the correct frequency...it’s in the area but not on the frequency specified in the spot. I have MMTTY Mark Tone set to 1445 and the NET selected.

2011年1月2日 · Now I am transmitting with MMTTY and SSDR / Flex 6700 just fine. Thanks for that tip!-----While we're discussing MMTTY and SSDR, here's a tip. Use a 1 Hz step when tuning RTTY signals and carefully line up the mark and space peaks in the MMTTY FFT Display. Very small frequency changes can dramatically improve copy of weak signals. 2011年1月2日 · Using N1MM+ with MMTTY in the main DI window and 2Tone in a second DI receive-only window. Still experimenting with filter settings but everything is playing together nicely. Also, I'm using DXLab's SpotCollector for click tuning on interesting spots.
