Loc Dong was born in Saigon, Vietnam. He is the industry's first Asian fine fragrance perfumer . Since 2002 he worked for International Flavors & Fragrances , and is currently a Senior Perfumer at IFF New York.

Loc finds inspiration for his perfume creations everywhere. His life in Asia, Europe, and the U.S. gives him many rich, cultural references from which to draw. 2023年2月6日 · Master perfumer Loc Dong is joining Symrise's Fine Fragrance division. With over three decades worth of experience, Dong is joining Symrise’s creative teams in Paris and New York, where he is said to play an important role in the International Prestige accounts.

Loc Dong composed one of current FiFi finalists— Acqua di Gioia by Giorgio Armani. He is the nose behind the extremely popular Halle Berry fragrance, Island Michael Kors, Euphoria for Men and for Women, I am King by Sean John, Desire Me Escada, etc.
