For the 1976 model year, Lincoln introduced the Designer Series; special edition Mark IVs with color, trim and interior choices by famous fashion designers. All carried the designer's signature on the opera windows, and had a 22 karat (92%) gold plated plaque on the instrument panel which could be engraved with the original owner's name.

2021年3月1日 · The Mark IV is my favorite Mark. I grew up with that car my father owned three. As an everyday driver it can be expensive because gas mileage is like single digits in the city and low10s on the highway. As a weekend cruiser, a great car! Not expensive for mechanical parts but interior trim parts can be hard to find and be expensive.

2024年3月14日 · Howdy; I'm probably beating a dead horse (no offense to the horse community), but I need to replace one of the headlight door motors on my 1971 Mark III. I've been looking around and I've found rebuilt OEM motors for around $800 a pair.
