About KRTA
The Kentucky Retired Teachers Association was established in 1957 out of a need for organized support for retired teachers. KRTA remains the “only organization in the state that has as its main purpose to look out for the welfare of retired educators.” From its inception, KRTA has continued to grow in numbers and respect.

2025 KRTA Convention
The 2025 KRTA Convention will be held at The Holiday Inn in Louisville KY 1325 S Hurstbourne Pkwy, Louisville, KY 40222 on April 21 and 22, 2025. Registration information will be in the March newsletter and can also be found by clicking here. It is open to all KRTA members.
KRTA is the largest retired teacher association in Kentucky, currently 32,000 plus strong. KRTA's sole mission is being alert and looking out for the welfare of Kentucky's Retired Teachers.
