KADY was a commercial daytime-only radio station that was licensed to St. Charles, Missouri, and served Greater St. Louis. It broadcast on 1460 AM from April 3, 1958, to January 20, 1965. KADY signed on at 1 p.m. on April 3, 1958. [2] . The station broadcast with 5,000 watts during the day from a tower along State Highway 94 in Boschertown.

2019年9月13日 · Grew up in St. Louis and 1968 / 1969 were prime AM radio listening years for me when I was 11 and 12. The two big AM top 40 stations were KXOK 630 and KIRL 1460. The bummer about KIRL was they were only licensed to broadcast sunrise to sunset. Great in the summer but not during the winter.

2020年10月4日 · Retro: Back in the late 60s and early 70s there was a Top 40 station in the St. Louis market on this frequency with the call letters KIRL. This station was an ill-fated attempt to compete with then AM Top 40 powerhouse KXOK.
