I was KEXP's earliest regular volunteer photographer. Started in 2002 and shot on and off for them until I moved overseas in 2020. This year I launched an Instagram feed of my music photography archive and it's heavy on the early Dexter/Denny studio years. Thought some of you might enjoy seeing it. I love KEXP but my tolerance for DJs, however wonderful they are as people, is low. This is why I have multiple radio stations programmed into my car radio and I can just toggle between them so it never really gets to me. c89.5 is a whole different vibe, but between 90.3, 91.3 and 89.5 I can usually make it all the way to wherever it is I'm going.

This unfortunately means the team has to be really selective and strategic when booking live performances. What can the Artist do to get an in-studio?
