Interstate 465 (I-465), also known as the USS Indianapolis Memorial Highway, is the beltway circling Indianapolis, Indiana. It is roughly rectangular in shape and has a perimeter of approximately 53 miles (85 km).

2019年2月6日 · Interstate 465 is a complete beltway encircling much of Indianapolis, Indiana. The freeway is mostly suburban, with major widening projects undertaken along the East Side in the late 90s and early 2000s and along the West Side (Accelerate465) between 2009-2012.

The project will support the future national I-69 corridor, which is being completed in Indiana. I-69 is an important commuting corridor that connects Indianapolis with Fishers, Noblesville, Pendleton, Anderson and other communities.

The proposed Clear Path 465 project includes added travel lanes on I-465 from the White River Bridge (approximately 2.4 miles west of I-69) to Fall Creek (approximately 2.15 miles south of I-69) on the northeast side of Indianapolis.

The study area – which is located in Marion, Boone, and Hamilton counties – includes three interchanges: I-465/I-865, I-465/US 421 (Michigan Road), and I-465/US 31. The study will adhere to the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
