2014年8月12日 · Does anyone have experience reinstalling the stainless windshield trim after replacing the windshield. I have a new gasket and it seems impossible to install the trim pieces. 2014年4月1日 · The windshield trim does cover the ugly black gasket and covers the screw holes for mounting the ...windshield chrome trim. Undo the screws, carfully remove one piece at a time. If you don't like the ugly rubber gasket...paint the trim and reinstall it. The rear cab trailing edge trim is fairly necessary. It hides an ugly spot-welded pinch seam.

2011年3月26日 · I've dealt with chrome lock strips with the BMW's I've owned in the past and working at a BMW shop, there is a special tool for properly installing the lock strip which is worth its weight in gold once you figure out how to use it. Turns your 4 hour job into a 4min job tops.
