2009年10月8日 · The Pilots with 4WD operate primarily as front wheel drive. When the system detects wheel slippage, it sends power to the rear wheels. You can lock the system by coming to a stop, and engaging the VTM-4 button. But that only stays locked up to about 15 or 20 mph. The switchover from 2WD to 4WD is seamless and works extremely well.

2012年12月28日 · Not sure how your 2006 Pilot 4WD works, but it may be similar to the one used in the 2012 Pilot. The Pilot 4WD drive system for 2012 is "same as" Honda uses in their Ridgeline Pickup truck. The 2009-2015 Pilot starts out in AWD at 0 mph always and decreases torque to the rear wheels the more you accelerate and is fully Front-Wheel-Drive once you reach 12 mph. This is because Honda believes we need traction the most from 0-12 mph.
