I think my only solution is to stick to the more expensive headsets and follow BSG's vision that GSSh is simply a cheap and bad headset.

2023年1月7日 · It basically has all the traits one wants. This headset is the direct inverse of the GSSH. The Gssh basically makes everything louder, with more listening range without dampening ambience like comtac 4's do. That being said, there's totally good reasons to use alternatives to Gssh like comtac 2's or xcells, sports etc.

I agree somewhat. Gssh is extremely useful for boosting all important sounds, however, it gives me a headache. This is why I use comtechs. Not as much sound boost, but still molar effect and mutes less important sounds. On the flip side, I find the sordin to be one of the worst personally. I feel it boosts sound, then muffles it.

2023年9月27日 · Absolutely no chance, these helmets weren't designed with headsets in mind. The headset itself apparently has 3 variations, the original pre Ratnik GSSh-01 (black), GSSh-01 6M2 (green), GSSh-01 6M2-1 (green, this one has comms), pre Ratnik versions are apparently very low quality.
