2015年10月4日 · Golarion is pretty much the definition of a "kitchen sink" campaign setting. I really enjoy the adventures that, as you mentioned, stay in similarly themed areas, but the more you globetrot the more inconsistent things become. FR is more focused, but also more dynamic.

Golarion's depiction of non-european cultures isn't racist like FRs. Garundi is as important and almost as big as Avistan, unlike the minor peninsula full of racial stereotypes and which the biggest city was built by colonizers that Chult.

Where Golarion is now makes early guns far less attractive for mass armies. In earlier days, guns where more useful for intimidation as people and horses were frightened by smoke and noise.

2023年11月16日 · I love the Golarion primer from the Core Rulebook that's now in GM Core, I'm very glad it didn't go away (and was even improved slightly), but I'm also very impressed by the new Player Core primer.
