2017年1月3日 · Have you tried to make any purchases of the Stanley stuff? I have while trying to find a cost effective heavier duty solution to the OEM front track bar flag nut and not only would they not deal with small quantities, they had no clue what the application was, how it worked, or anything else that made any sense from someone who supposedly manufacturers them.

2016年10月27日 · Mine broke when I was replacing my track bar. The bolt had rusted inside the flag nut and snapped when trying to loosen. Tough time trimming it down enough to get the flag nut out of there. I bought a bolt and nut from McMaster, and used some washers. You can use a regular nut and just slip a crescent wrench up in there to hold it while tightening.

2005年11月4日 · Yeah I've got to figure something better out then this whole flag-nut business. I have a Skid Row LCA skid on there and it makes it that much harder to access the flag. I like the off set wrench idea. There's veryl little room in there but I'd rather have a way to get a whole wrench on a nut rather than rely on that flag.

2008年6月15日 · my stock bolt broke off in the flag nut so i just replaced it with a metric grade 10.9 and a regular nut it was a little tough getting a wrench in there and i might have to get creative when i need to take it off :rofl:

I haven't found a flag nut yet so I'll probably end up making my own by welding a piece of sheet metal to nut.

2018年12月7日 · Know exactly what you mean Mike/Mule and my 96 ZJ has/had the 'flag-nut' on the backside of the track-bar bolt. But I still had to use heat on it along with an open-end wrench up in the slot since the road salt seized it on big time.
