2017年3月6日 · There's another Yaesu hand-mic which uses a condensor element that provides much better (more neutral?) audio output. I think the model is MH-67A8J. It sounded great with the FT-450. HRO sells it for around $25 now; and you can also import it in from one of the Chinese auction-style sites. I think I paid $12 for mine.

2018年3月13日 · I sigh in relief when my FT-450 barks at me and shuts down the drive to the finals when the SWR is too high. I do not care very much as to why Yaesu put that protection circuit in there but I happily accept it as something good being done for me, saving me the expense of replacing finals.
