This avoids the save having to be deleted outright though it does involve booting up, dealing with the bug, closing the game, and and then readding the original save and rebooting...

2021年5月23日 · You only only need the ones you want to modify, because if the game needs a file not found in the data folder, the Patcher allows it to load the vanilla file from its CPK instead. The net result is that the game loads files from its CPK, and replaces as many of these files with their modded versions from the data folder.

Uninstalling, resetting cache, verifying integrity, deleting my save file in "remote", resetting my internet connection, adding new folders and naming them like the old ones, running as administrator, resetting EAC, etc.

When i open up my data folder all that's in it are ui and sound. The chara folder is gone and no where to be found within the XV2 directory. i.e HUM, HUF, MAJ, etc.

Fortunately DBXV1 and DBXV2 are both in the one labeled 323470. In 323470 open remote and then you’ll see your DBXV2 folder (which contains DBXV2.sav) and DBXV.sav (assuming that you use the default saving path for your games).
