Prior to the appointment I uploaded all of my verification docs. I've never received any kind of assistance before and expected the most grueling interview but it was just a conversation about my situation.

2023年11月2日 · Posted on the notice section there is a CalFresh Notice of Approval. Next day there is a notice of Missed interview that states: If you still want CalFresh benefits, please contact your worker to schedule another interview. However, the portal site is showing: YOUR APPLICATION FOR CALFRESH BENEFITSHAS BEEN APPROVED.

2022年10月20日 · I recently got approved for calfresh. It took about 2 weeks after my interview (I did my interview like 3 days after applying though) to get approved, but I had extra documents I had to submit. After approval, it’ll take about a week to receive your card and PIN number. Once you have the card, then you can use your benefits

2021年12月30日 · If you call Health & Human Services directly they can establish benefits with Calfresh and Medical in one ‘interview’, a 10 minute basic question convo, based solely on your income with taking into account rent amount.

2022年3月29日 · Thank you for your helpful reply! I applied for CalFresh on February 12th, interviewed on like March 6th. So it has been over 30 days since my application. But not since my interview. I just received a text from CalFresh which asked if I was approved or not, and if not, to call them asap. So that’s what I’ll do now.

2024年6月12日 · Same thing happened to me today. I was supposed to have an interview at 11:30 AM, but no one called. Now, it's after 5:30 and the offices are closed. I guess it's true when they say that they're short on staff.

My interview was supposed to be tomorrow which is my little girls 5th birthday so I scheduled her birthday stuff a day late just so I wouldn't miss the call but here I am missing the call because it came today instead of tomorrow 😭 please help me I'm begging at this point🙏

2022年12月31日 · If you would like an in-person interview, you can request one and we must oblige. Your application will be evaluated for all months from the date the signed application was received by the county. If you applied online, that would be the first business day the county received the application during business hours.

2022年6月30日 · By this point I just didn’t even want to continue the interview. The calfresh worker stated that the only thing that would happen is I wouldn’t receive calfresh for about a year. Then I received a letter that stated I could be investigated for willful misrepresentation…which kinda shocked me since the worker never stated this.
