The Portaflex B-15r was a late '90s-early 2000s reissue of the classic B-15n "Portaflex" bass combo of the 1960s-'70s. It is a 25-watt amp with a single 15" speaker, and is designed for the gigging musician. Just like the classic Portaflex, the amp head folds down into the cab when not in use for easier transportation and storage.

The Ampeg B15 is an incredible amp, with some absolutely gorgeous sounds. The Epiphone 1820 is a good solid bass; nice sounding, with no tonal extremes. But like any other bass, it sounds awesome through a B15.

2012年6月17日 · Re-used: OT, PT, choke, chassis, sockets, power/standby switch, tone switch (replaced the caps on the switch with new ones, the switch is in the circuit just before the volume) and the knobs. It was quite a challenge because i made the layout while building it.

2008年12月5日 · It depends which B-15 you're talking about. The B-15S and the B-25B are the same thing (but the B-25B is 16ohm whereas the B-15S is 8ohm). The B-18 is also basically the same as the B-15S/B-25B. The B-15N has a different tube config. I own both a '63 B-15N and an early 70's B-25B and the matching 2x15.
