2011年1月2日 · Scott, N3FJP has released a beta version (6.3.6) of AClog that sends time stamped spots to Flex radio. AClog must be using the Flex API interface as its rig interface. All the filtering capabilities of AClog spotting are now available including "only new ones". Spot decay is set to 30 min and is not currently adjustable.

2011年1月2日 · Using that CAT method it works fine and I get Freq, Mode, Band etc exchanged between ACLog and Radio. But, what I am trying to get working is the Flex API method of communication (so I can get SPOT info passed to Flex Radio). In ACLog I can set Rig Interface to Flex API and also set any IP port number (default 1100).

2011年1月2日 · I installed Win 10 from Win 8.1. ACLog and WSJT were working in 8.1 but I can't get them to interface in Win 10. Nothing seems to connect. Has anyone had any luck with either of these programs? Win 10 controls the Flex 6300 without a problem. I have tried different port settings but it either indicates the port is in use or does nothing.

2011年1月2日 · Hi Scott, It is a really personal decision. I like ACLog by N3FJP, but there are many many choices - including one that will fill your needs. I suggest finding several that you can try for no cost, then make your decision based on what works best for you. I don't do any serious contesting, but I do enjoy jumping in now and again.

2011年1月2日 · Even though ACLog is doing the same thing, it is doing it as if it were coming from paddles (using a WinKeyer CAT port), so SmartSDR doesn't send the sidetone to the PC. I don't know if Flex or Scott, N3FJP have plans to change this …

2011年1月2日 · I have traced this to a failure of ACLog and the FLEX Winkeyer emulator to initialize the connection. After the first transmission, the transmissions are timely. I can also solve this by going into ACLog's Setup>Transmit>CW>Winkeyer tab and clicking the "Open" winkeyer button. Then things work smoothly.

2020年8月20日 · I am currently using N3FJP's ACLog 4.1 with DDUtil & the FLEX-1500. I will begin testing with the 6500 when it arrives next week. I will report back. ACLog is a very nice program and he has a bunch of dedicated contesting programs available, too, that will import logs into ACLog 4.1.

2011年1月2日 · Hi Mark, there is a difference between the active slice and the TX slice. ACLog follows the active slice, not the TX slice. The active slice is the one that follows the mouse wheel for tuning. The active slice has a yellow line coming down from a small yellow triangle on the flag, and has nothing to do with the TX indicator.
