Opinion on best 15 X 7 wheel back space spec for front of a '64
2020年4月12日 · Wheel = 15"x 7" BS 3.50” TIRE = P205/75R15 Put a 1" Rubber Spacer under the Bottom of the Coil Spring and it raised to 25" plus changed the Wheel = 15"x 7" BS 4” TIRE = P205/70R15 So changing the Wheel BackSpace / Height of the Tire and adding the 1" Spacer eliminated the Rubbing

2023年10月24日 · With 15" x 8" wheels I like 255/60r15.. With 15" x 7" wheels I like 225/70r15.. I prefer the 7" wheel and the 225/70 tire. Its been my experiance that this combo looks, rides and handles best.. With an updated suspension and +7 caster, zero camber for better straightaway feel and a very slight toe in. With Delrin you can also go toe out.

By the way, I just installed a SC&C stage 3 suspension on my 69, my 225/70-15 Cooper tires on 15 x 7 wheels stick like glue with the new suspension!
