2005年6月9日 · 1 of the nicest things about the Nikon reticle systems is that the catalog provides every subtension anyone would ever need for downrange zeroing or ranging with every 1 of their reticles. 1 think i like about the BDC reticle is that the plex-type post tips r 4 inch per hundred yds. from the reticle's axis.

2006年3月25日 · Hi gang I am having a difficult time understandig how to properly use the side focus adjustment for parallax on my Leupold VX3 4.5-14LR with the BC reticle. I guess my main point of confusion on this is that the scope instructions read "The side parallax adjustment knob is not to be used to focus the target image.

2010年1月22日 · 68" x 1/4" =272" The Zeiss website states that your scope is Inches Per Hundred Yards(IPHY): Welcome to Carl Zeiss Optical, Inc. It is a significant difference. You might notice my drop card shows 71clicks for 900yds -vs- 67clicks(if it had been MOA). That's 4clicks you would have been off, or 1 inch per 100yds x 9, = 9" Atleast.

2022年3月14日 · TIMNEY TRIGGERS AND X-BOLTS: If you install a Timney trigger in your X-bolt you LOSE the bolt lock and the open-while-on-safe feature. I would never trade an "unlocked bolt" for a 1/2 lb. lighter trigger pull unless the trigger was a 5 pound pull. Browning gives you a 2.7 to 3.2 lb. trigger pull depending on the gun.

2023年12月29日 · I recently bought a rifle chambered in 300 RUM, 28" inch barrel, 1:8" twist. Looking to hunt with it and shoot heavier 220gr to 250gr. My experience with the 300 RUM is limited. My shooting so far has been with Hornady ELD-X 220gr, A-Tip 230gr and 250gr, and Berger LR Hybrid and Elite Hunter 245gr.

2025年3月3日 · Looking at having a Mini 14 built. Leaning towards swapping calibers. Think 25-45 sharps or 6x45. Would most likely shoot 70-90gr bullets with these 2. Or just leave it a 223. I reload so ammo isn't an issue. Please push me one way or the other. Main use will be coyotes with the occasional deer hunt.

2023年8月14日 · A few of us have blown up a few thin jacketed bullets on a few occasions. I've watched more than a few old 50 grain Speer TNT bullets come apart mid flight when using a 26" 1/9" twist 223 and even more so in a 1/9" twist 22-250.
