Either cut your guest list or plan a wedding for a non meal time. You can get married at 2 pm and then have a cake and punch reception following.

We also sent a formal invitation to the priest and deacon who served at our wedding for the reception (neither could come) and an infomral invitation (e-vite) to the rehearsal dinner. I'm pretty sure you don't need to include a +1 for a priest... if you invited a deacon, you would probably want to if they are married.

We did what I've always seen, which was that we did the first dance at the very beginning of the reception to open the dance floor. We didn't do intros, but it would have been right after intros.

I would open the dessert table after you cut the cake (or, if you're not doing wedding cake, after dinner). The guests can choose to leave whenever they like (although too early is kind of rude IMO, since they could have just declined), but you shouldn't switch the order of things around too much to cater to them.

2011年12月1日 · I'd expect dinner at a 4pm wedding. Personally I don't usually eat until much later, but if I saw 4 I'd imagine the ceremony going til at least 4:30, then an hour cocktail hour, and dinner beginning at 5:30, which is a normal early dinner time. I've been to one wedding that started at 4, and that was more or less their timeline.
