WGUR (95.3 FM) is a college radio station broadcasting a variety format. Licensed to Milledgeville, Georgia, USA.

WGUR began after one student wanted to increase student involvement on campus. Frank Howell, a Student Government Member and Sociology major, spoke with his roommate, Greg Duckworth, about creating a student-run radio station.

WGUR 95.3 FM is Georgia College's award-winning, student-run radio station. WGUR offers professional radio opportunities for all GCSU students and encourages students to develop broadcasting skills in a variety of station areas, such as announcing, music, news, sports broadcasting, promotion, public relations, advertising, production, and station management.

Where it all started. Initially known as WXGC “88 Rock”, Georgia College’s own student-run station first hit the airwaves on January 10, 1975.
