2008年7月30日 · Games with single-sided counters could be mounted on magnets, and then the board could be mounted on metal, for example. (I'm thinking in terms of The Russian Campaign, for example). I would love to mount A Victory Lost, but it seems like I would have to have a double of every counter due to their being double sided counters.

2007年12月5日 · My wife took some of my visually-interesting older games (either duplicates or games that were missing pieces) and made quite a nice wall display. She took the pieces to Axis & Allies and vintage Clue and put them in shadowbox frames (less than $10.00 per frame, probably cheapest at Ikea).

2012年5月31日 · Either is fine with me, I prefer paper maps than most mounted maps from wargame companies, unlike many Euro games, these mounted maps use sub-par materials and warp easier (made worst by being in humid Hong Kong.) Even the really deluxe wargame mounted maps don't really compare well with most Fantasy Flight stuff.

Here's mine for March 2024! The games shown on the table are on the right, and on the left. The tables are relatively new, having bought them last fall - the previous ones were your standard folding tables, but we wanted something sturdier and better looking, and got these from Wayfair.

2020年8月11日 · They fit longer games like IceCool just fine, but really long games like Mechs vs Minions won’t fit. I’m thinking of installing floating shelves to hold the really big games because I’m hoping that will look nicer than sloppily stacking them directly on top of the Walmart shelves. 2024年11月22日 · It's a pretty good bet Elf Creek Games is no more... They seem to have dropped off the face of the earth, leaving an unfulfilled KS in their wake. Plenty of people are angry and it's understandable; KS took their cut and the rest of the funds are most likely gone. I myself lost $48 and I don't ever expect to see that again.

2018年3月27日 · While the 14" shelves may seem ideal, they will not work well if the wall has studs on 16" spacing (USA std., don't know about you folks). You might have more problems if the walls are plaster over lathe construction. Longer shelves might help. Downside for the 3 each 14" Amazon shelves - you can only buy three additional games.
