Viktor (also known as the Herald or the Machine Herald) was a main character of Arcane. Ingenious and courageous, he came from the Undercity to become an inventor and created Hextech alongside his partner, Jayce Talis.

While most Piltovans feared the arcane and thought Jayce's endeavor reckless, Viktor was intrigued by Jayce's ambition to master magic through science. Viktor saved Jayce's research notes from disposal behind Heimerdinger's back and went to visit Jayce.

Active: Viktor conjures an arcane singularity at the target location that deals magic damage to enemies within and disrupts their channeled abilities. The singularity then remains for a duration, continually dealing magic damage to enemies within the area.

With every 100 Hex Fragments he obtains, Viktor permanently augments an active ability. After upgrading all of his basic abilities, he can gather 100 Hex Fragments to augment his ultimate ability. Viktor conjures an Arcane Storm on the field, dealing magic damage and interrupting enemy channels.

2022年6月12日 · In Arcane, Viktor is strongly motivated to leave behind a great legacy. His intellect and drive make him the most significant contributor to Hextech research, even more so than Jayce Talis, its inventor. Viktor is one of Arcane’s most compelling characters.

It is revealed in the series finale that the identity of the Mysterious Mage is that of Viktor, having gone through parallel universes to give Jayce the crystal. It is shown in these universes that the appearance of the crystal changes in each iteration, implying a possible differing outcome to each.
