2020年10月18日 · I am going to wear a cloth double layer mask with ASTM level 2/3 surgical mask as filter, then my neoprene gaiter with the ventilation on top. They key is to keep the surgical mask dry from your breathing, therefore the cloth layer to absorb moisture. Can put a layer of gauze between face and mask too.

2023年1月31日 · Friends here used to ski with a neoprene bit that resembled a sleeping mask, but not as big. It covered just part of your face and connected to your goggles with velcro. It definitely didn't have the fogging problem, but you could also get frostbite. That was talked about at one time either here or on Epic, but it's been a while.

2017年12月5日 · I usually carry two Anon MFI magnetically attached to the MIG goggle mask and one or two back up face mask. One of these days I'll cut the bottom section off of an Anon MFI magnetic mask leaving only the upper to cover my nose and cheeks which often is all that is needed to keep my nose from freezing. Would be nice if Anon made such a thing.

2025年1月12日 · Coldest day for us was -45F w/ windchill. Can't negate windchill. With the humidity here on East Coast, those temps are real. "Ski" clothing nowhere in sight, all high end Snowmobile gear and boot gloves w/ hotronics, heated boot bag, and a special mask for designed for super cold temps. Mostly Klim gear, designed for those temps.

2021年12月10日 · I still feel the old "ski key" system is better though. #1 the system actually locks your skis in place so no one can walk away with them #2 the lock itself is way smaller and less of a hazzle to carry around. Drawbacks of the ski key is off course that they require a specific ski rack and I see less and less of those around.

2020年11月1日 · I got to enjoy my ski day. When dealing with guest services, I implore people to mask up or be prepared to face immediate consequences. In the lift line I worked under the assumption that the lifties were enforcing. While on the lift, I briefly took off my mask, took a drink of water but masked up once in view of the liftie at the terminus exit.

2024年8月19日 · Kid's in teams so I got to ski the snot today. It was raining to the top (8700 ASL). However, the hill was STRANGELY very good. I think they timed the grooming perfectly or something. At the bottom, firm but edge able - PERFECT for 7 year olds figuring out gates and stuff. And unlike yesterday it was FAST.
