The S-300 (NATO reporting name SA-10 Grumble) is a series of long-range surface-to-air missile systems developed by the former Soviet Union. It was produced by NPO Almaz for the Soviet Air Defence Forces to defend against air raids and cruise missiles.

When equipped with 9M82 missiles it is referred as SA-12B or Giant. The 9M83 SA-12a GLADIATOR is a dual-role anti-missile and anti-aircraft missile with a maximum range between 75 and 90 km.

2024年5月23日 · The S-300V 9K81 (NATO code Sa-12 Gladiator/Giant) is a Russian-made air defense missile system mounted on a tracked armored vehicle. The S-300V is designed and manufactured by the Russian Defence Company Antey.

The S-300V has two different versions distinguished by the missile it uses: The SA-12A Gladiator is used primarily for targeting aircraft, whereas the SA-12B Giant is primarily for countering tactical ballistic and cruise missiles.

This 12” SA v.2 is a top-down upgrade. The 2.75” coil punches way above its weight, outperforming most 3” coils without adding weight. The motor also features a large magnet shorting ring (faraday ring) to reduce distortion and deliver smoother response across the entire acoustic spectrum.
