2023年3月23日 · The old R4 card worked as well but it had 4gb limit. Its similar to the middle one you have. I have custom firmware in my 3ds but its cool to have an R4 as well yo take advantage of the ds/3ds slot and save more space to your sd of the 3ds. I didn't see any difference in the performance anyway.

2025年2月26日 · R4i gold 3ds can play Nds games, snes games, homebrew, but no GB/GBC games, if you want to play GBA games, then you should buy dstwo. I have one dstwo from r4depot, working perfect. It can play GB, GBC, GBA, SNES, and DS Roms on my 3ds. Perfect? Isn't it. And seems it can also play on your dslite, it support the latest Nintendo firmware.

A piece of paper behind the PCB can apply a little more pressure; Most R4 should show a logo even if the micro SD is missing but you should try a different micro SD anyway. The R4i 3ds Gold+ card is the way to go and it will help hack your 3ds w/o "Powerful Computer." If you live within the United States I recommend ordering from modchipsdirect but if not go nds-card which ships from China. Both are very respectable sites.

2025年2月26日 · Installing CFW on my 3DS utilising the ntrboot method with the R4 as my flashcard has left me with an R4 card full of DS games that none of the 3DS handhelds I have access to seems to be able to read. The 3DSes I tried with have different firmwares on them. One has CFW (latest Sys 11.13) and the other has regular firmware (Ver 11.3.0-6E).

2023年4月7日 · R4s are good for ds games and maybe emulate gb/gbc games. They can't play 3ds titles and gba emulation isn't very good on r4. 3ds cfw allows use of homebrew apps for various things like save backups, save editing, game cartridge backups, and many other uses.
