"Web Connect" is nothing more than what the OFX server would have responded when sent the request for transactions in the OFX/Direct Connect protocol, but in file form. So, the original Express Web Connect was "Log into the financial institution as the user and download the Web Connect/QFX file and import it." There are two problems with this.

2024年8月26日 · When TD started to have download issues, none of the alerts posted by Quicken staff noted if it was for Direct Connect or for Web Connect, so I took it as ALL methods were broken. Then when it was announced it was restored, my previous method of Direct Connect still refused to work and as a test, I switched to Web Connect and found it worked.

Quicken Web Connect - PNC accounts
I have worked with Quicken and with PNC and Quicken is aware that in some cases Quicken cannot connect to PNC. The work around is to go to PNC, select the account you want to "download" transactions and there is an export button. When you open the download, MAKE sure that you connect to an existing account and then select the correct account.

Webconnect to PNC Bank no longer appears to be working
2024年1月21日 · Updating a PNC Bank account from within Quicken is done by Express Web Connect+ (or Direct Connect), not Webconnect. Web Connect is the process of manually downloading from the financial institution's website and then manually importing into Quicken. I am assuming your want to restore Express Web Connect+ downloads.
