2025年1月5日 · Aside from fit and finish, the S&W PPK and PPK/S pistols have much in common with the Fort Smith variants. First seen in the S&W pistols, both have the same feed ramp and extended grip tang. The S&W pistols have a dove tailed rear sight whereas the Fort Smith pistols have an integrated rear sight.

2015年5月8日 · Because I'm working in a CLI environment, I want to convert the key to the .ppk format from within this environment. Apparently, you can use puttygen openssh_private_key -o output_filename.ppk on UNIX-like environments. But the Windows version of puttygen will just load the key and prompt you to use the GUI to export the key.

2024年11月9日 · Not the same money as a vintage PPK as they will command a (Bond, James Bond) premium, and especially in CA where even fewer likely exist. IMO, the physical difference between the PPK and the other two options is fairly minor, and I much prefer the slightly longer grip of the PP or PPK/S. Good luck in your hunt.

Therefore I stick to PuTTys .ppk, differ just a little bit from ssh-keygens .pub and use both "conventions" as basis to build the others close to this names.
