2024年8月6日 · Kyoko Zeppelin Soryu (惣流・キョウコ・ツェッペリン) is the mother of Asuka Langley Soryu. She appears in Episodes 22 , 25 , and 25' . Despite her limited appearances, Kyoko has a major impact on the major events found later in the series, particularly on Unit 02 and Asuka's personality.

Kyoko Zeppelin Sohryu (惣流・キョウコ・ツェッペリン?) is a fictional character from the Neon Genesis Evangelion: ANIMA novel. Kyoko's soul has been inside both Evangelion Unit-02 Type II Allegorica and Evangelion EURO-II Heurtebise, since it used parts of it as testbed for the development of the Heurtebise unit.

2016年7月4日 · At an unspecified date, Kyoko Zeppelin Soryu undertook a contact experiment with Evangelion Unit-02. Unlike Yui's experiment, Kyoko's does not cause her soul to be completely absorbed into Eva-02. Rather, only an aspect of her soul resides in Eva-02 - the part that loves her daughter above all else.

2021年9月24日 · Similar to Yui Ikari, Kyoko performed a contact experiment with an Eva's core (that of Eva-02), but unlike Yui, she was not completely absorbed. Instead, only the portion of Kyoko's soul containing her maternal aspects was taken into the Eva.

2023年6月6日 · When Kyoko died, it's inferred her body was inserted into the core. However in Rebuild, it's also inferred that possibly half of her is in Unit 05. This would explain how Mari can pilot Unit 02 without a core change (sisters from different fathers).

2022年11月6日 · Actually, it can be inferred from the background dialogue at the funeral that Kyoko (probably) attempted her Contant Experiment at least some time before Yui got hers off the ground.
