Konza Prairie Biological Station is an 8,600 acre tract of native tallgrass prairie. Konza Prairie is a preserve of The Nature Conservancy, managed by the Division of Biology, Kansas State University. Follow the trail going clockwise #1. Konza Prairie was previously a working cattle ranch. It was purchased by The Nature Conservancy in 1977.
