CLEW® step-in snowboard bindings are fast and easy to use. They give you an outstanding riding experience and free choice of boots.

They ride exactly like regular bindings once you are in them, you can strap in and out with two regular binding straps. Not to mention you don’t have to bend over to get in, as they are automatic. One lever on the inside and you just pull your foot out.

2024年2月2日 · We have requested snowboard bindings several times from Clew, which has so far refused to make a pair available for an objective review.

Solid binding that isn’t too stiff but definitely not a super loose/park binding. Not committed to specific boot and can swap out boots as you desire. Feels like a “regular binding” with ankle and toe straps and can be used that way if desired.

The Clew Freedom 1.0 Bindings are 2.4 lbs, which is a little on the heavy side but not too heavy. Most bindings are around 2-2.2 lbs, so it isn’t bad at all. There are some really light bindings at 1.8 lbs, but these are still pretty far below the 2.8 lbs Nidecker Supermatic.
