Now talking about sound. The ifi hip dac uses the burr brown dac, which is famous for its warm characteristics. But in the hip dac 3 the same characteristic does exist but with a slight sprinkle uptop and also a wider soundstage. The treble does become a bit smoother and that edginess of treble which the simgot has goes away.

2022年9月13日 · Personally I mostly use either the ifi hip dac or the apple dongle. I love the bass boost on the hip DAC, it's very clean and seems to only boost frequencies under 200hz. The apple dongle is more portable and way cheaper though, got a cheap USB-A to USB-C dongle and have one hooked up all the time to my pc and another one for my iems.

2022年3月20日 · Thanks, I’ve been in doubt between the Hip Dac 2 and the xDsd Gryphon, I’ve seen the Chrod Mojo 2 but at its price range not haven balanced output and only DSD 256 natively it’s a big turn down, I think the the xDsd Gryphon at a even cheaper price is better.

Hi Guys, today we will be taking a look at the IFI Go blu. In the fast moving audio space the go blu is quite old. It released a year and half back, but it surprisingly has some great features. Like the 5100 Qualcomm bluetooth chip and it uses the CS43131 dac which has become quite popular for dongles dac in the $50-80 range.
