2024年3月29日 · Oddly, the best Doctor's Day was in an HCA hospital. The last one before I left was in the newly rennovated (and very well done) physician's lounge, with (for real) steak and shrimp. And homemade huge cookies. I remember I had a nice conversation with one of the new radiologist that joined the group that covered the facility.

2023年3月30日 · There's no harm in recognizing physicians only on doctors day, nurses only during nurses week, PAs only during PA week, etc. Just like one wouldn't pick Mother's Day to say Happy Mother's Day to fathers, godparents, aunts, uncles, etc. Yes, healthcare is a team sport and we're all in this together.

2023年12月12日 · I think maybe 4 is where we come back to an actually happy Doctor. Four was always having a good time even when he had to do crap for the Time Lords. Previous to him you've got three who was grumpy about being locked on earth so that's another unhappy Doctor. I'd say one and two were pretty happy, even with one ditching his granddaughter on Earth.

2022年3月30日 · Got the same thing I got for National Resident’s Day - not even so much as an email lol. Cool to know just how much we’re valued and appreciated twice in the past month :) Update: Jk, found out the coffee shop in the hospital no longer gives a free daily coffee to providers. Happy doctors day!

2024年3月30日 · ‘Addressed to gods we don’t recognise, and entreating us to abhor operations for stones we never felt any compulsion to remove, we spent the first years of our training thinking that Hippocrates was merely quaint, until one day we took up work in a new hospital on the outskirts of a small but well known city in the middle of the country.
