The heart rate display that shows a chart doesn't show my current (or, say, average of last X minutes) heart rate - and it's hard to read the chart when am exercising. What I would like is a simple clear display showing "125 BPM" and changing with time. Seems like the most basic requirement for a HR monitor - surprised haven't found it yet! Thanks!

Yes that will work. Start an activity on the watch and it will record heart rate broadcast from the chest strap. If you don't wear the watch then just keep in close enough to receive the radio signal. You can just wear the HRM-Pro Plus without a watch and it will record heart rate and upload to Garmin Connect through your cell phone.

Since soft 13.21 was released, my Instinct 2x solar started doing strange tricks. The heart rate monitor performs incredible measurements. Have any of you experienced such a problem? Today I did training in two watches, 2x Solar vs Instinct 1. The results are terrifying.

2024年11月15日 · The heart rate monitor on the watch is quite inaccurate and mostly lags behind…. especially when doing HIIT routines which involve hand movements. i don’t understand why garmin can’t fix this. i have tried all tricks lossening, tightening, restarting etc. nothing works…. apple watch gives far accurate and reliable heart rate readings .

I did make sure to wear the watch in accordance with Garmin's users manual, wearing above wrist bone and not too tight or loose. The first graph is only the heart rate and the second one includes the elevation profile. My suspicion is that the watch is somehow switching to cadence in this activity mode instead of reporting the actual heart rate.

2024年11月15日 · I have a Fenix 7 Pro and my heart rate monitor has stopped working suddenly. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I have, turned it on and off again, hard restarted it, re-installed the latest software. I'm reluctant to reset it as i will loose all my data i believe unless someone can tell me different? So guys today I did my HIIT run today and observed the heart rate.. It did had lag and didn't show my heart rate, did 7 sets sprinting for 30 sec and even if I felt my heart coming out of my chest the monitor showed at most 140 BPM, so I thought this should show a minimal acute load for this excercise after finish, but to my surprise after I ended the activity, the recovery time was 3 …

Generally speaking, anytime an external heart rate strap is paired and active and being used for a specific activity, the wrist-based HR function is not active. So - you'd have to check when you're starting the activity, that the Polar HR strap DID in fact connect and was active, etc.
