2019年8月17日 · I bought a used 2018 Audi S3 last weekend from a Mazda dealership. Had the PPI done by the Audi dealership down the road. PPI came back clean besides "Fault Stored During GFF For G608 Brake Vacuum/Pressure Sensor Implausible Signal" but they assured me it would be covered for free under warranty.

Replace the “vacuum hose with non-return valve and pressure sensor – G608” according to the Elsa Repair Manual, Elsa >> Brake System >> 47 Hydraulic Components >> Vacuum System.

2018年6月19日 · With the engine idling, the G608-Vacuum Sensor should be around [-800 to -950mbar] providing there is a decent amount of vacuum at the brake booster. - The value should change when the pressure (positive or negative) changes.

2025年3月24日 · Check the vacuum hose, sensor G608, connectors, seals and valves for possible damage. Check for leaks according to ELSA. Check for small cracks in the vacuum hose or in the connection points between check valves. Replace as needed.

2020年9月7日 · Just heard back from the dealer: it was a brake booster sensor (they stated G608 but I haven't found it in the parts list for our cars so think it is actually this one). They told me that they needed to perform an alignment afterwards. Out of warranty, I am pretty sure it would have been a pretty costly repair.

2005年2月11日 · The diagrams for both the "8T2" 38-pin ABS module currently in my car and the new "8T3" 46-pin retrofit part list a set of three wires going to "T3di connector" going to "G608", which lists as the "Vacuum Sensor".

This condition occurs due to an incorrect sampling rate between the ECM and the G608 Vacuum Sensor. The symptom as described will store the fault 03366 in the Brake Electronics Fault Memory. This fault will cause the Brake Warning Light to display in the instrument cluster. DO NOT replace any parts for this condition.

2021年6月28日 · The paperwork states - Defective G608 vacuum sensor requires replacement continuous use may cause further damage To brake system and lead to further cost. The service advisor told me to limit my driving and therefore brake usage until the fault was fixed.
