2009年5月28日 · Ive been looking for another horse and have searching a few breeds that Im interested in, TWH's, Rockies and Pasos. Ive noticed that people have quite a few pasos for sale that are dirt cheap.. like 400 and 500 dollars. Ive always been told to stay away from extremely cheap horses because that means there's something wrong with them.

Me, I wouldn't even buy a horse from an auction in person because I'm not a good enough judge of horses to make a good decision. Actually I would never even go to an in-person auction because I know I'd come home with some sad and neglected horses that I didn't need.

2022年10月11日 · You also have to think about caring for the horse, monthly expenses, farrier, feed, dental, surprise vet bills etc. It’s always a running bill with horses. and If you board somewhere that is also a monthly cost. People say the initial purchase of the horse is the cheapest part. But that being said a lot of great horses are cheap ones.

2012年8月10日 · A reputable sale will not allow parking lot dealings, and this sale you can see trading horses and tack in the parking lot. I forgot to mention, not sure if they do it anymore, A trader clip. A trader usually tried to clean a horse up by a face clip and a boot clip. Something to look for, especially if he was multiple horses.

2011年12月4日 · In this economy that is a risky business. Really high end quality horses are having a hard time selling though the really nice ones still have a market but not like it used to be. Then you have to figure the costs of raising it to full training age etc. Well trained young horses are out there for sale cheap already.
