2014年6月5日 · All considered, I do agree it's about six of one and a half dozen of the other. For flatlanders concerned about mountain driving (towing campers, etc.), I usually recommend Hwy 16. It has very few sharp curves and steep inclines compared to Hwy 14. The MOST scenic drive would be to leave Yellowstone via the NE gate to Red Lodge.

Mrs. Phillips died this week, and I would love to hear from other campers who remember Steve, Bert, Chris, Susie, and Donnie just to quickly name a few.

2009年5月7日 · Tahoe City is nice, but it is frustrating to navigate in summer due to tourists and campers - traffic will drive you crazy as a local. Truckee gets tourists too, of course, but not hanging over the bridge and clogging up main streets forever.

2013年6月27日 · I am not a resident. I have friends there and I have spent 4-5 weekends a year there for the last 10 years. I have paid a lot of attention over those 10 years. I did give serious consideration to buying there some 5 years or so ago. I really like the place but the main reason is I am a golfer and the golfers I know there are happy campers.
