Truly a major thanks to u/Sebazzz91 u/grobux (and other collaborators) for making the community firmware for the CR-6 se amazing! Great improvements and new design, listening to the feedback and caring, which makes the CR-6 se a very capable 3D printer, merci :)

Hello fellow CR-6 owners :) I bought a used CR-6 a few weeks ago and I cant get it to print in decent quality consistently. Currently I have the issue, that whenever a retraction occurs, the filament wont come out afterwards for the next line. I even did a factory reset on the community firmware to ensure all I changed was changed back.

2021年3月7日 · So when I kickstarted the CR-6, it looked like an across-the-board upgrade to the Ender 3, my very first printer. I'd moved on since, of course, buying a delta (FLSun QQ-S Pro - a very underappreciated printer!) and now in the process of building a Voron 2.4, but nostalgia and the price point for the features made it seem like a good idea.

The community firmware is a lot easier to install than it first seams. I use the pre-compiled firmware so literally all I had to do is open the machine once (3 screws) take a picture of the motherboard labels so I never have to open it again, format the SD card correctly (hardest part) download the correct file for my mother board, put file on the sd card and plug it in turn it on …

2021年12月22日 · I already had to replace the CR-6 Max extruder cover with a warranty replacement because the original cracked. The whole extruder design is really annoying. Prints are coming out okay in general after a lot of hassle with the extruder, adjusting the tightness etc, but I was going to attempt TPU (not expecting much) but I couldn't even feed it ...
