Redding Center | California Conservation Corps
The CCC Redding Center provides local residents the opportunity to jumpstart their careers in wildland firefighting, habitat restoration, trail maintenance and more!
Magalia Fire Center | California Conservation Corps
The Magalia Fire Center opened in 1978 as a CCC/CAL FIRE Center. The center closed in 2003, then reopened in May 2016 housing more than 70 residential Corpsmembers who provide fire prevention and protection, and work on natural resource projects in the surrounding community.

Wildland Firefighting | California Conservation Corps
The California Conservation Corps operates more than two dozen wildland firefighting hand crews. Fire hand crews operate at 15 CCC locations across California. The CCC Wildland Firefighter Program offers Corpsmembers the opportunity to get paid while they train, earn certificates, and get hands-on experience on local and major wildland fires.
Placer Center | California Conservation Corps
The CCC Placer Center regularly responds to local and statewide emergencies, often deploying at a moment’s notice. Recent assignments include COVID-19 food bank support, winter storm recovery, wildland firefighting base camp support, and flood fighting.
Delta Center | California Conservation Corps
The Delta Center is the first newly constructed CCC facility in Northern California in decades. Based in Stockton, six field crews work on projects ranging from the Sierra Nevada to the greater San Joaquin Valley, including the Sacramento and San Joaquin Rivers.
Santa Maria Center | California Conservation Corps
Santa Maria Corpsmembers work in rural environments along the Central Coast as well as near urban landscapes, including Santa Maria, to complete a variety of project work. Santa Maria partners include State Parks, U.S. Forest Service, Santa Barbara County Flood Control District, as well as other local conservation districts, cities, and counties.
Fresno Center | California Conservation Corps
The CCC Fresno Center offers Corpsmembers the opportunity to build skills aimed at improving and enhancing the San Joaquin Valley region’s environment. The center offers training in four distinct project areas, wildland firefighting, forestry, energy, and natural resources.
Monterey Bay Center | California Conservation Corps
The Monterey Bay Center is located in Watsonville, California. The non-residential center manages three crews consisting of 45 Corpsmembers. These crews provide resource conservation work such as trail construction, wetland habitat restoration, and fire hazard fuel reduction in the Watsonville and surrounding communities.
