2020年4月28日 · Ashaway Kevlar is nothing like any other aramid/kevlar tennis string. I find anything other than Ashaway Kevlar useless. I have probably strung over a 100 rackets with Ashaway Kevlar in the mains, including a successful D1 female college players racket.

I tried every "standard" aramid string out there and they are all similarly constructed to ProBlend except for one, Ashaway Kevlar. When used in the mains x Ashaway Zyex in the crosses it can be so fun in some rackets, not all.

2017年10月4日 · Anybody have experience using Forten Aramid, Ashaway Kevlar and Pro's Pro Pure Aramid, 18 gauge? Your experiences and recommendations would be much appreciated. I currently use Forten Thin Blend (aramid mains), but I'm considering alternatives to try. Thanks in advance for your comments.

2008年10月9日 · Hmm, I don't think you should do that. Since Kevlar is a dead powered string with superb bite, you might just want to put it on the mains. I'm running some I-D-K branded Kevlar and Forton Nylons for about 5-6 months now and they're still holding onto me. It was stiff at first but once it broke in a bit, I got the hang of the Kevlar.

I kind of sucked with the kevlar plus but I also went from playing 5-6 times a week (original kevlar) to 1-2 times if that with the (kevlar plus) so too many different variables to compare. Kevlar is also amazingly light, Kevlar/gosen og sheep swings so much lighter than full poly.
