2020年3月10日 · The 2AR-FE engines were made here in Huntsville, AL. I wouldn't trade my 2017 for a 2018+ with the newer engine and the 8 speed transmission. I think one of the reasons the 2AR-FE is such a good engine is the ubiquity that Toyota used them.

2023年6月17日 · The 2AR-FE and FXE even have slightly different blocks, with the FXE being closer the 2AZ-FXE than the 2AR-FE's block in terms of the construction which could explain the oil consumption or the Hybrid system, or both. I've heard of a lot more of the 2AR Hybrids having consumption issues than the gas only ones.

I have always maintained the car through the dealer per the manual with 10k synthetic 0w20 oil/filter changes, though I do think this is a bit too long for my style of driving. The car has 99k miles.
