The YJ-83 (Chinese: 鹰击-83; pinyin: yingji-83; lit. 'eagle strike 83'; NATO reporting name: CSS-N-8 Saccade) is a Chinese subsonic anti-ship cruise missile. It is manufactured by the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation Third Academy.

China developed the longer range and more capable YJ-83 as the successor to the YJ-8A. The YJ-83 has a similar range and flight profile as the French MM40 Block 3 Exocet.

YJ-83. The YJ-83 anti-ship missile measures 6.38 meters in length with a diameter of 360 millimeters and a wingspan of 1,220 millimeters. It operates at cruising altitudes between 20-30 meters, dropping to 5-7 meters in its terminal phase. The missile can achieve speeds of Mach 0.9 in cruise and Mach 1.4 during its terminal phase.
