ENABLE TRAIL CONSTRUCTION & MAINTENANCE. WMBC manages 85 miles of maintained trails in Whatcom County and we are always looking to expand! That means more than 8000 hours of volunteer work and many days on the trails.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL MOUNTAIN BIKING. WMBC’s After School Bike Clubs are thriving. We have many elementary school clubs, a middle school club, a girl specific club: Flying Squirrels, and a robust partnership with Vamos Outdoors Project serving grades K-12. Galbraith Mountain - Wmbcmtb
INTRODUCTION. Galbraith mountain is a world class mountain destination located within riding distance of downtown Bellingham. Over 70 miles of singletrack that winds through 3,000 acres overlooking the city and Bellingham Bay. The mountain is accessible to all non-motorized use; all of the trails are built and maintained by the WMBC and our trail sponsors.

Whatcom World Cup is a series of fun, community mountain bike races held Wednesday evenings on Galbraith Mountain each spring and summer. The races are open to all, including youth. Middle School Bike Club - Wmbcmtb
MIDDLE SCHOOL MOUNTAIN BIKING. WMBC’s After School Ride programs are thriving. We have clubs affiliated with many elementary schools in the Bellingham School District, as well as an Open Middle School club for riders in grades 6-9.
Advocacy - Wmbcmtb
Our mission is to preserve and enhance non-motorized trail access in Whatcom County through stewardship, education, and advocacy. WMBC takes the advocacy of our trails very seriously. We have been working directly with land managers since the organizations conception to open up more trails and access points for mountain bikers and other trail users.
