Is Sharkbite OK on main line - Love Plumbing & Remodel
2022年7月1日 · Sharkbite makes a few different versions, but those that have their push-on connection on both ends will rotate in place. The actual connection is made with an O-ring. It uses SS metal 'claws' to lock it onto the pipe so it can be pushed on, but unless you retract them with their tool (or a suitable substitute), you can't pull it back off.
How many years would you guarantee a Sharkbite fitting install??
2020年5月30日 · Sharkbite claims that you can do an entire building with their fittings, so that would mean they are enclosed in walls and SHOULD last a long time. I would personally not count on it. Plumbs
Will Sharkbite Work On Copper With Leftover Solder
2020年7月29日 · Now, I probably could have used a compression fitting valve, but with two wrenches, over my head near the ceiling with water still coming out, the Sharkbite was the better alternative! 2021年3月26日 · The above chart does suggest a sharkbite might work on 1/2" (0.630" OD versus 0.625"), not sure what the OD tolerances are for Sharkbites, or (edit) if the ID being different would cause a problem with the stiffener. Cheers, Wayne
