Im finding my Christesen action to be a little tight and I reach Pressure indications on the brass a couple grains earlier than recommended max. So far im really liking the powder especially for that price compared to H1000 and others similar in burn rate.

2024年5月30日 · I'm switching from Ramshot Magnum to Ramshot Grand. With 68.2 of Grand getting 3300 fps on 151 HHT and 0.5 MOA at 200 yards. I don't plan to try it in my 300 PRC because H1000 does very well on that one

2018年5月31日 · Just seeing this Ramshot LRT powder information now. Anybody have any additional first-hand experience on burn rate? I HAVE to use spherical/ball powder in my 25 RUM to prevent powder bridging. Kirby Allen used to like and recommend H870 (no longer manufactured) in his .257 Allen Magnum.

2023年1月20日 · Anyone use Ramshot Big Game for reloading? I am loading for 308, 30-06, 7mm-08 and 6.5 Creedmoor. The local distributor had some in stock and saw that it can be loaded with most of my calibers. Only other thing they had I wanted was Varget as my 308s love it. Any reviews would be appreciated.

2022年2月8日 · There's an article in the 2024 Hodgdon Reloading Magazine (found at grocery store). It includes some load data for Ramshot Grand. You can see it used/listed in the same cartridges as H1000. It's a spherical powder. It's for sure not a direct 1-to-1 substitute for H1000 as far as weight goes.

2021年5月12日 · I just looked at some loads I made. I used 44.0 gr TAC (max book load) with a Nosler 168 CC, Nosler 2nd's brass, and a FED 210. I'm not sure of the velocity but I shot it out to 800 yards yesterday and it matched 2750 fps come ups. The nice thing about TAC is I get +/- 0.1 gr straight from the powder dropper.

2005年1月28日 · Jimmy, I am interested in it also. I purchased some the other day to try in my 257 wby and 7mm Rem Mag. What I hear is it is a very good powder, frankly, all of the Ramshots are good powders, they burn very clean, and are noted for low standard dieviation numbers, plus they arent very sensitive to temperature changes.
