NSLS stands for National Society of Leadership and Success. They paint it all pretty as if you your academic status is the reason why you are being selected. But if you actually research it you just need a 2.75 and at least 6 college credits. You pay 95 dollars to just sit and watch youtube videos. Literally.

2023年1月7日 · NSLS is a scam, and the $100 doesn't even give you access to stuff. You have to go through their "learning program," which is basically an advertisement for their other "courses" (complete BS) that can cost hundreds more.

2022年3月22日 · NSLS is a real thing, you’re not being scammed or anything but it’s not worth the 90$ (I paid) to get into it. Once you get through the steps to reach your induction ceremony, it’s basically like you cease to exist.

2022年10月4日 · There is a $99 "initiation" fee, most if not all Honour societies have a membership/ initiation fee. I have seen these fees range from $25 to several hundred dollars. At the end of the day, the main difference between the NSLS and others is that NSLS is "for profit".

2019年12月12日 · The RPI Chapter of NSLS was started in Fall 2017 and is administered from the Archer Center for Student Leadership. It is recognized as an associate club under the Union. The Archer Center in it’s efforts to make Leadership development available to all students on a broader scale partnered with NSLS.

2023年8月22日 · i get the vibe that NSLS (National Society of Leadership Success) is a scam similar to NHSS, which emailed me like every month in senior year of high school. Especially since they require a $95 membership fee before you even go to the first meeting and the stats all over the letter are also very NHSS vibes.

2020年4月28日 · In fact, NSLS does not validate your meetings so really, you can just make stuff up and send it in to NSLS for approval. After that and some intro things...you're in. One of the things that really bugged me is their constant emails to buy stuff. Also, after induction they press on you a little to pay up for the advanced level of NSLS membership.

2023年3月2日 · Not necessarily. If you apply for a federal job you qualify for a higher level if the society is NSLS listed. ACHS listed. Other employers are the same. Edit: my bad, I was sleep deprived and using the wrong acronym and being unclear. The honor society at WGU gets you nothing at most places (and none that I can think of right now).
